Abstract
This research aims to explore the role of chroma technology, or green screen, in improving the quality and diversity of television and cinema productions, and its role in enabling content makers to create virtual environments that may be difficult or expensive to implement in reality. The study reviews how to use chroma to create imaginary scenes and employ visual effects, where characters and virtual locations can be combined to create innovative scenes that transcend the boundaries of time and space. The research focuses on the most important technical and artistic aspects of using chroma, while clarifying its advantages, such as reducing costs and increasing efficiency in photography, as well as the ability to easily modify scenes without the need to completely re-shoot them. The research also addresses the challenges associated with the use of chroma, such as the need for high skills in image processing and lighting adjustment to achieve realistic results. By reviewing a group of examples of prominent television and cinema works that used chroma in innovative ways, the research provides recommendations on how to develop this technology to keep pace with rapid developments in The world of visual effects highlights its importance as an essential tool in achieving creative visions that enhance the viewers’ experience and make it more interesting and attractive. The researcher divided the research as follows: Methodological framework: The research problem included the following question: What are the factors that contribute to creating chroma in the television image technically? And technically? Regarding the importance of the research, the researcher addressed the necessities and need that prompted him to address this topic, and then came the research objectives, which were defined in three objectives, and the research included the study questions.
