Abstract

There is no doubt that modern linguistic studies are developing in various aspects, especially pragmatic and argumentative studies, as they are among the most recent linguistic and rhetorical studies that attempt to find out how texts carry out the process of persuasion? Why are some texts convincing and others less convincing than others? What are the most important linguistic and rhetorical means used by pilgrims?Pragmatics - as it is defined by linguistics scholars - is the science that studies the relationship of signs to their responsibility. Argumentation is a modern deliberative mechanism called new rhetoric, but it has ancient roots dating back to the Greek era, and the goal of argumentation is to influence the recipient either to strengthen his position, or to change his mind and adopt a new position.

The research attempted to answer several questions: .What is the difference between arguments, arguments, and debate? .What is the relationship between pragmatics and pilgrims? .Did Arab criticism in the past know pilgrimage and pragmatics, or were they influenced by modern linguistic studies? .How did the Qur’an address the issues of pilgrims? The research will consist of an introduction, two sections, a conclusion, and a list of sources and references.
