Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the role of leadership in implementing the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM) from the perspective of faculty members in institutes in the Western Region. The study sample consisted of 120 faculty members, and an analytical descriptive approach was followed. A questionnaire was used to collect data from the study sample. The study yielded the following results: The role of leadership in implementing the principles of TQM from the perspective of faculty members in institutes in the Western Region was perceived to be high. There were statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level in the role of leadership in implementing TQM principles from the perspective of faculty members in institutes in the Western Region, attributed to variables such as gender, specialization, and years of experience.
