Abstract

The researcher in this study clarified the concept of religious extremism in the name of Islam, so this study came in two sections. In the name of religion, and I reinforced that with Quranic verses and prophetic hadiths. Then I spoke in the second section about the concept of the purposes of Islamic law, its importance, and its connection to religious extremism. Then I endeavored to put in place the most important preventive measures and remedial steps to curb the phenomenon of extremism in the name of religion, which does not conflict with the spirit and purposes of Islamic law. Because the phenomenon of religious extremism is one of the negative phenomena that preoccupied public opinion, and there has been a lot of controversy about it by jurists and thinkers from within and outside the ranks of the religious trend, so this study came to educate Muslim youth - male and female - about the danger of this deadly disease, which constitutes the main source of the disintegration of societies, and the disruption of the fabric. social, and the main source of violence and terrorism.
