The Impact of Strategic Planning on the Effectiveness of Crisis Management

Abstract
Most organizations have increasingly focused on strategic planning due to its role in achieving organizational goals, especially as they operate in highly complex, uncertain, and dynamic environments. This study aimed to explore the reality of strategic planning in the management of the western region branches of the Republic Bank and its role in enhancing the effectiveness of crisis management and mitigating associated risks. The study followed a descriptive-analytical approach by describing the phenomenon and collecting primary data through a questionnaire specifically designed for this research and distributed to employees in the western region branches of the Republic Bank. Secondary data were also gathered from books and management literature. The study concluded with several key findings, most notably the presence of certain obstacles that limit the effectiveness of strategic planning in crisis management.
