Abstract

The current study aimed to reveal the role played by family awareness in reducing and reducing domestic violence directed at children, as well as identifying the most important methods of family awareness to help reduce this violence, and to identify its most prominent effects, and the most important procedures followed by the family to address and reduce domestic violence, and the study relied on the descriptive approach, through the sample survey, and the questionnaire was used as a basic tool to collect the required data, with the intention of analyzing and interpreting it, In order to answer the questions of the study, the study has resulted in a set of results, the most important of which are: that the integrated family is the one that guarantees its children, social, psychological, health and economic care, according to an intimate human relationship dominated by the highest human emotions and nourished by good manners, good example, ideals and mutual advice among all its members, which is the first school from which all these values, principles and morals are derived from their childhood, and that advice, guidance, dialogue, dialogue meetings, family awareness of the aggressors and knowing the reasons Their aggressive behavior and its treatment reduces or limits their violent behavior,
