Abstract
This study aims to understand the career choices of the third year of secondary school in the city of Sabha. The research problem is summarized in the main question: What Is the level of career choice among the Third year of secondary school within the educationally acceptable level? The difference between males and females. The study also examines career choices based on several variables: literary and scientific specialization, economic status, and the educational age of the father and mother. The research sample consisted of 58 male and female secondary school students in the city of Sabha. The researcher used a scale consisting of 47 items, statistical methods, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation tests to analyze the data, and a descriptive-analytical approach to analyze the phenomenon. Among the most important findings reached by the researcher: 1. There are no differences between the average scores of the students' mothers' educational level regarding career choices. 2. There are no differences between the average scores of the students' families' economic status. 3. There are no differences between the average scores of male and female students In the second year of secondary school. 4. There is no difference between the average scores of the students' parents' educational level regarding career choices. 5. There are differences between the average scores of the sample members and the sample members' level of career choices.
