Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the concept of modern technologies and their role in the educational process, to recognize the importance of modern educational technologies in the educational process, the general foundations on which modern educational technologies are built, and the obstacles to their use. The researcher employed a descriptive methodology, which involves studying existing and accessible events and phenomena as they are, without the researcher interfering in their course; the researcher can interact with them to describe and analyze them. The research tool comprised books, references, studies, and previous research that addressed the topic of this study.The researcher concluded that modern technologies contribute to achieving educational and pedagogical goals that should be reflected in the behavior of the learner, take into account individual differences among learners, contribute to the comprehensive development of the learner, and help maintain the effects of learning for an extended period. The researcher recommends the necessity of providing educational technologies along with their various accessories in all schools, due to their special importance in motivating students, stimulating their motivation, increasing their active and positive interaction with educational content and practical activities, and conducting training courses for teachers on the use of modern educational technologies.
