Abstract

The aim of the current research is to reach a proposed perception towards a more effective role for the school social worker from the point of view of social workers, and to identify the actual role of the social worker in the school field, as well as to identify the most obstacles that limit the role of the social worker in the school field, and the descriptive analytical approach was used, relying on the questionnaire tool to collect data from a random sample of social workers, where the sample reached (25) social workers, Keywords: assessment - social worker - school field - teachers' point of view. The research found that the establishment of training courses for the social worker in the school field makes him more successful, and through these courses he can develop his skills, which leads to the performance of his roles to the fullest. Among the recommendations in this research are the holding of seminars, conferences and educational lectures to introduce the profession of social worker in the school field, through various media, as well as the work of professional training courses for specialists in social work who play the role of a professional practitioner in the school field.
