Abstract

The aim of the research is to understand the geography of peace and development, its significance, concept and importance Development, and highlighting the importance of peace geography in studying and achieving sustainable development, in an attempt Highlighting the role of peace geography and approaching the geographical concept of development, and thus predicting the future dimensions of development studies, which will be the basis for building societies, as well as highlighting the role and importance of sustainabl development, which has become an obsession for all states and countries. The researcher assumed that there is a clear discrepancy in the interpretation of the concept of peace and development geography and great confusion. Among other synonyms such as development, modernization and economic growth, achieving sustainable development requires rationalizing economic, social and technological approaches. As for the research methodology, the descriptive and analytical approach was relied upon to give the real dimensions in the interpretation. Regarding the research, practical necessity necessitated dividing the study into several topics.
