Despite the progress achieved at certain stages, the Libyan crisis still faces major challenges such as internal political divisions and external interventions. The initiative by the UN envoy "Abdullah Batili," announced in March 2023, is considered an important step in the path of resolution, as it included several positive elements, such as focusing on elections and expanding dialogue among Libyan parties. However, this initiative faces challenges such as political disagreements and foreign intervention. The study concluded that UN efforts must continue to enhance understanding and dialogue among Libyan parties and to promote stability in the country. International support should also persist to achieve peace in Libya, provide humanitarian aid, and support reconstruction for the Libyan people affected by the crisis. This can be achieved by enhancing national dialogue among all concerned Libyan parties and reaching a comprehensive political solution that meets the needs of the Libyan people, strengthens cooperation among the negotiating states to support Libya's stability, and combats external interventions.
