Abstract
The study aimed to explore the impact of modern philosophy on understanding social relations, by identifying how modern philosophy contributes to the development of more open and applicable theories in sociology. It also aimed to address key philosophical issues raised by contemporary social theories and to understand how to philosophically address them, as well as to interpret contradictions between different philosophical schools in social relationship theories. Furthermore, the study aimed to examine the role of philosophy in understanding the cultural and political dynamics affecting social relations, and finally to understand how philosophical differences between individual and collective approaches to understanding social relationships can be overcome. The study yielded the following results: The findings of the study indicate that modern philosophy enhances the development of more open theories in sociology through interaction between the individual, society, critical research, and effective use of scientific data. The study findings show that contemporary social theories raise key philosophical issues such as social justice, power, and control, requiring innovative philosophical thinking for understanding and addressing them. The study results demonstrate contradictions between philosophical schools in social relationship theories, especially regarding control, structure, individual factors, and culture. The study confirms the role of philosophy in understanding cultural and political dynamics affecting social relations by providing a conceptual framework that aids in deeper understanding of the forces and factors shaping cultures and political systems.The study findings suggest that focusing on commonalities between individual and collective approaches in understanding social relationships can help overcome philosophical differences and enrich our understanding of social relationships.
