Abstract

This study aimed at the level of availability of psychological rigidity and oral linguistic performance skills, also limited to speaking skills among students of the University of Derna Faculty of Education, Al-Qubba branch, In order to reveal the nature of the relationship between psychological rigidity and speaking skills among students. The researchers adopted the descriptive analytical method so as to show research and its objectives. the data were obtained through students at third- stage students at the Faculty of Education, AL-Qubba from various scientific departments, and the number of students reached 38 students. The findings of the study showed that the dimensions of psychological rigidity are available to students with an average degree of availability as follows:- Contact with others self- compatibility, Personal and professional achievement. In addition to this, Speaking skills are available for students of the faculty of education with an average degree. lastly there is a direct correlation between the dimensions of psychological rigidity among students of the Faculty of education Al-Qubba and speaking skills. The study recommended to take the account of gradation in providing oral linguistic and performance skills for students from the easiest to the most difficult, also take care of the exercises that help students develop the oral linguistic performance skills that they have acquired. Finally, Encourage students to adhere to responsibilities as much as possible as well to religious trends and values.
