Abstract

This research introduces the concept of lexicalization and the geometry of semantic fields in light of the study of words that indicate the sense of sight within the framework of lexical semantics, and addresses the features and properties of verbs. Such as movement, stillness, observation, will, and continuity... Then for the actions of the sense field in general, and the field of sight in particular. It deals with the comparison in terms of semantic and syntactic features and characteristics between the apparent positive basic sense verbs (look, see, see), and their pragmatic use: in the field of the Arabic language in general, and in the scope of Surat An-Naml in particular.
