Abstract
The study aims to propose a prospective vision for the development of kindergarten educational status in the city of Zliten. The study used the descriptive
developmental approach, and data was collected through a questionnaire, to measure the educational reality of kindergarten stage in the city of Zliten. The study
community consisted of all the female teachers working in kindergarten stage in some localities of this city, including the following: (Ezdu, City Center, Al-Baza, Al-Jumu`ah, Al-Ghweilat, Souq Al-Thulatha, Al-Kasbah) as an intentional sample,
numbering (402) female teachers, and a random sample of (71) female teachers was chosen. The results of the study concluded that the degree of expectations of the sample members for the educational status of kindergarten stage in this city came to
a high degree. In light of these results, a prospective vision was proposed for the development of kindergarten stage in Zliten, which the study recommended for adoption by the Ministry of Education the responsible authority for kindergarten stage.
