Abstract

Libya has embraced many civiliations, at is considered a cradle of civilions. Many ancient civilizations have arisen on its lands, with their own arts, which were distinguished by their aesthetic nature in addition to the utilitarian functionality, and due to the wide spread of drawings, inscriptions and rock carvings that are abundant in many southern regions of Libya. And its southwest, in addition to the highlands of the Libyan coasts, which were settled successively by the greeks, the romans, and even the byzantines. In this research, the studnt discusses the art of Libyan mosaic paintings in the villa of dar bok amira in zliten and the most important topics it contained. The student also touched on giving an idea of the general shape of the engineering layout of the dar bold (zliten) building, in which it was found. Mosaic, and then the analytical study of models of mosaic paintings, and the study of its most important topics.
