Abstract

The research focused on presenting the origins of the Issawiya method, its educational impact on Libyan society, as well as its role in preserving the religious identity of the Libyan state: belief, jurisprudence and behavior. The research dealt with the Issawiya method in particular, as it is the most widespread method in Libya as a model for the study, In particular. The researcher also shed light on the stages of the entry of the Issawiya tariqa into Libya, the acceptance by scholars and followers of it, and their interaction with it. In addition, the researcher exposed the educational approach of the Issawiya method and its impact on the behavior of the individual on the one hand and on the other hand on the behavior of society, as well as the most important violations that marred the method from some of its affiliates and their treatment. Finally, the research came out with reliable results and recommendations for those interested in this aspect.
