Abstract

During the period of Arab rule in al-Andalus, the local population became profoundly intertwined with Arab culture, absorbing its civilizational patterns, customs, and social traditions. These influences left a lasting imprint on the Spanish identity, within which such elements continue to be reflected. Owing to this dynamic interaction, Islamic Spain emerged as a fertile ground for civilizational creativity, supported by its favorable and aesthetically rich natural environment.
