THE IMPACT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF IT PROJECTS

Abstract
The aim of this study was to identify the impact of organizational culture on the performance of IT projects at the Libyan Ministry of Higher Education. The Ministry has been experiencing difficulties in implementing this type of project. The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach and utilized the SPSS and AMOS statistical software packages to analyze the results and identify the impact of variables. The study sample consisted of 269 male and female employees of the Ministry of Higher Education. The study concluded that organizational culture plays a significant role in improving the performance of IT projects. It recommended strengthening the organizational environment to contribute positively to achieving better performance and reducing potential risks to IT projects. The study also recommended implementing training and development programs to enhance organizational culture and ensure its integration within the Ministry's institutional structure to improve project performance.
