The Concept of the Term Sanctity of the Arabic Language

Abstract

This study examines the concept of the sanctity of the Arabic language from a critical terminological perspective, addressing the overlap between textual sanctity and linguistic function, and re-defining the concept within a functional framework consistent with contemporary critical studies.
