Fronting and Postponement in the Abrogated Nominal Sentence in the Diwan of Ibrahim Tuqan

Abstract
This research presents a descriptive and analytical study of the types of 'fronting and postponement' in the nominal sentences within the Diwan of. The phenomenon of fronting and postponement in nominal sentences is considered one of the most prominent linguistic features that indicate the flexibility of the language and its system. This phenomenon varies in its meaning depending on the context and the needs of the situation. It also takes on a distinctive character and special feature, as it reflects the emotional state of the poet. The use of fronting and postponement is seen as a response to the emotional state that stirs deeply within the poet, highlighting the psychological condition they experience. It seems that the motivation behind this fronting is an understanding of the poet's inner feelings and emotions that shape their sensations. This study aims to investigate a grammatical and linguistic phenomenon: fronting and postponement, which is considered one of the most important linguistic and artistic features that demonstrate the flexibility of language and its system.
