Abstract

This research addresses the topic of having good thoughts about God and seeks to establish its legal concept and clarify its status in Islamic belief as an obligatory act of worship of the heart. The research aims to clarify the legal criteria that distinguish true good thoughts from arrogance and feeling secure from God's plan, the most important of wish is its association with righteous deeds and its foundation on knowledge of God's names and attributes. The research also analyzes the profound effects of having good thoughts about God, which include strengthening faith and reliance, achieving psychological tranquility and patience in times of hardship, and motivating the servant to strive in acts of obedience. The research concludes that taking care to cultivate this noble act of worship is the most upright way to build a balanced, faithful personality capable of facing challenges with steadfastness and certainty.
