Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to examine the impact of Qur’anic narratives on the development of legislative and ethical values, focusing on selected examples from Surah An-Nur. The research adopts an analytical and purposive exegetical approach to explore the relationship between Qur’anic events and the rulings derived from them, alongside reviewing scholars’ interpretations and the meanings of the verses. The study concludes that Qur’anic narratives are not mere historical accounts but serve as educational and legislative tools aimed at purifying the individual and building society from within. The findings highlight that the Surah addresses issues of modesty, protection of personal dignity, and regulation of social relationships, transforming events into ethical and legal principles. The study also emphasizes the importance of employing Qur’anic narratives in contemporary education to demonstrate the integration of legislation and ethics, guiding both individual and collective behavior according to a comprehensive system of values and objectives.
