Organizational Leadership Behaviors and Their Impact on Organizational Creativity at Sabratha Teaching Hospital

Abstract

Sstudy aimed to identify impact of organizational leadership behaviors on achieving organizational creativity: a field study at Sabratha Teaching Hospital. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical framework, this research engaged a simple random sampling technique with a total sample of 92 medical and administrative staff members from the hospital. The study found a high level of organizational leadership behaviors practiced at Sabratha Teaching Hospital, with a high level across all its dimensions. "Participative leadership" ranked first, followed by "supportive leadership," and finally "directive leadership. " The findings further revealed a significant degree of organizational creativity among hospital staff. Study demonstrated a statistically significant positive impact of organizational leadership behaviors on organizational creativity, as well as a statistically significant positive impact of all dimensions on enhancing employees. The findings revealed that organizational leadership behaviors exert a statistically significant positive influence on organizational creativity. Furthermore, all examined dimensions were found to significantly enhance employee performance creative abilities. The study recommended that management continue to provide a supportive organizational climate that encourages the exchange of ideas, focus on promoting a participative leadership style that gives employees the opportunity to contribute to decision-making, activate an incentive and reward system linked to creative ideas, and use leadership styles that balance technical guidance with psychological support to contribute to fostering innovation and excellence in healthcare services.
