Abstract
This study examines the discourse of love and the rejection of hatred in the poetry collection No Time for Hatred by Mohammed Salem Al-Mazoughi, offering a semantic and stylistic analysis of how poetic language articulates human values through symbolic and figurative expression. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the study explores representations of love and hatred in selected poems, focusing on key rhetorical and aesthetic devices, including symbolism, contrast, repetition, paradox, figurative imagery, linguistic deviation, and internal rhythm, and their role in shaping the poetic discourse. The findings reveal that the collection is grounded in a humanistic vision that promotes tolerance and peace, while also reflecting the social and national dimensions of the poet’s experience, thereby situating the discourse within a broader ethical and collective framework.
