Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the most honorable of prophets and messengers, our master Muhammad, the noble Prophet, and upon his family and all his companions.
As for what follows:
The research deals with the study of long and short Arabic vowels, their articulation, their characteristics, and their properties according to the ancients and moderns, and it deals with the word vowel linguistically and technically.
The research aims to identify the differences in the opinions of ancient and modern scholars, to clarify the mechanism of pronouncing Arabic vowels, and to identify the differences between the vowels.
Research Methodology: In this research, I adopted the descriptive and experimental method, and through them I demonstrated the difference between the ancients and the moderns in terms of the mechanism of pronunciation, characteristics, and attributes.
