The Method of Draining Sewage Water in the Public Housing Neighborhood in Al-Awata Municipality and the Resulting Damages

Abstract

This study examined the method of sewage disposal in the public housing neighborhood of Al-Awata Municipality during the year 2025, and the resulting damage caused by this method, given the failure to construct the wastewater treatment plant included in the residential neighborhood’s construction plan, which was supposed to be implemented concurrently with the housing project. The study employed two methodologies: one theoretical and the other applied analytical. The theoretical approach addressed sewage discharge methods, as well as methods for treating and reusing this water in general, while the analytical approach involved studying, analyzing, and investigating the damage caused by these methods in the study area, using a random sample representing the study population in the municipality of Al-Awata, in light of certain hypotheses and questions.
