Educational Leadership as an Organizational System within the Educational Institution: A Sociological Perspective

Abstract
This study aimed to examine educational leadership as an organizational system within the educational institution from a sociological perspective. This was achieved by identifying the nature of educational leadership as an organizational system within the educational institution, analyzing the components of this organizational system, determining the social and organizational factors affecting the effectiveness of educational leadership, and finally clarifying its role in improving performance and the quality of the educational process. The descriptive method was adopted due to its suitability for the purposes of the study.
The study reached the following findings:
-Educational leadership represents a dynamic organizational system within the educational institution that goes beyond the administrative dimension to influence relationships and roles, and its effectiveness is determined by its ability to balance formal and informal organization within the social and cultural context.
-The organizational system of educational leadership consists of interconnected elements such as roles, relationships, communication, and organizational culture, operating within an integrated interactive framework whose effectiveness depends on coordination among these elements and is influenced by the organizational structure and decision-making mechanisms.
-The effectiveness of educational leadership is determined by the interaction of social and organizational factors such as culture, relationships, organizational structure, communication, resources, and policies, which affect its ability to achieve the institution’s objectives.
-Educational leadership contributes to improving performance and the quality of the educational process through organizing work, developing human resources, and enhancing communication and coordination, making it a fundamental pillar for achieving educational excellence.
