Abstract

This research presents an objective study titled "The Etiquette of Dialogue in Surah Al-Ankabut," providing an analytical interpretive perspective based on the work of Imam al-Sa’di (Taysir al-Karim al-Rahman). The significance of this study lies in the pivotal role of Surah Al-Ankabut in addressing trials and tribulations, and how dialogue is employed as a Shar'i and methodological tool to strengthen the believers and counter misconceptions .The research concludes that Imam al-Sa’di established a set of ethical and academic guidelines for managing dialogue. Most notably: maintaining kindness and gentleness, purifying intentions for the purpose of guidance rather than dominance, and applying the principle of fairness by accepting the truth even from an opponent. Furthermore, the study highlights the Quranic methodology of using parables as illustrative tools to clarify abstract concepts, emphasizing that "arguing in a way that is best" is considered a form of intellectual and verbal Jihad.
