Abstract

Perhaps man is the only being who cannot remain confined to his environment. He is born with a love of looking and exploring, and a love of travel and moving from one place to another. With time, it becomes a habit for some people. The Islamic religion came to all people, and it was necessary for the Companions, may God be pleased with them, to transfer this religion to the rest of the nations. This can only be achieved through travel and movement. With the spread of Islam and the expansion of the geographical area of the Islamic state, it was necessary to teach the conquered countries the teachings of Islam and the Arabic language. Islam reached from China in the east to Andalusia in the west and to sub-Saharan Africa, and this is what we will talk about in this article, which is the role of migrations in the spread of Islam and the Arabic language in sub-Saharan African countries, "the capital of Timbuktu as an example."
