Editorial Policy
Al-Osala Journal is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that aims to publish original research, critical studies, and reviews within its specialized fields, with a strong emphasis on research quality and scientific originality. The journal relies on a rigorous review process conducted by editors and members of the editorial board to ensure that submitted manuscripts are evaluated according to internationally accepted academic standards, including methodological validity, significance of research findings, and relevance to the journal’s scope. All editorial processes are managed in a transparent and responsible manner, ensuring that final decisions regarding acceptance or rejection are based on independent scientific evaluation, while upholding research ethics and principles of scientific integrity.
The journal also adheres to international publication ethics standards, including the protection of authors’ and reviewers’ rights, disclosure of conflicts of interest, prevention of plagiarism, duplicate submission, and data manipulation, as well as compliance with applicable copyright and privacy regulations. The journal further seeks to provide clear information to all stakeholders regarding peer review criteria, review procedures, and mechanisms for addressing post-publication errors or complaints, thereby enhancing scientific credibility.
Editorial Independence Statement of Al-Osala Journal
In order to safeguard the integrity and impartiality of scholarly publishing, Al-Osala Journal declares a full separation between editorial decision-making processes and administrative or commercial interests.
All decisions regarding the acceptance, rejection, or revision of manuscripts are made exclusively by the editorial structure, including the editors, Editor-in-Chief, and Editorial Board members, based on criteria of scientific originality, scholarly significance, methodological soundness, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
No administrative body, funding entity, or any external party—whether for commercial or political purposes—has the right to interfere in any manner with publication decisions or the evaluation of manuscripts prior to publication.
The publisher (Libyan Association for Educational and Human Sciences) is responsible solely for administrative support, publication infrastructure, and legal consultation when necessary. The publisher does not participate in the scientific decision-making process of manuscripts, except in providing legal or ethical advisory support in coordination with the editorial team.
Any complaint or appeal regarding editorial decisions is handled through a formal internal review structure, such as the Editorial Board, Ethics Committee, or an equivalent mechanism, independent of external influence.
All editors, editorial board members, and reviewers are required to adhere to scientific ethical standards, including impartiality, transparency, disclosure of conflicts of interest, confidentiality regarding manuscripts, and refraining from using unpublished material in their own research prior to official publication.
The journal ensures procedural transparency for all stakeholders, including authors, reviewers, and readers. It publicly discloses its editorial policies, peer review standards, and mechanisms for handling disputes or post-publication issues when necessary.
The objective is to maintain the independence of scientific decision-making and ensure that all published content in Al-Osala Journal reflects rigorous academic standards, free from any undue influence or bias.
