Abstract

The problem centers on human values as they are the fundamental basis for human interaction, which is what constitutes his frame of reference. Adherence to them and resorting to them is considered a necessity for social control, while departing from them is considered a deviation from what society has accepted, and departing from them is considered a deviation from it. Therefore, the fortification of values as the independent variable affects the ego. The latter is positive, as it is a call to adhere to desired values and protect individuals, groups and societies from deviation and departure from societal values, as adhering to values is sophisticated, tasteful, humane and moral, while departing from them is considered disintegration, weakness and inferiority, given the desired level of value in society.
