The Role of Knowledge Management in Developing Creative Leadership Capacities A Field Study at Al-Jumhuriya Bank, Zliten Branch – Libya

Abstract
The study aimed to explore the role of knowledge management, including its dimensions (knowledge generation, storage, dissemination, application), in developing creative leadership capacities. An analytical descriptive methodology was employed, and a simple random sample of employees at Al-Jumhuriya Bank, Zliten Branch - Libya, consisting of 50 individuals, was selected. A questionnaire was used as the data collection tool. The findings revealed that the application of knowledge exhibits the highest level among the dimensions of knowledge management, indicating advanced use of technology, encouragement of application through teamwork, and transformation of knowledge into valuable services for customers. The performance of the knowledge dissemination process faces several challenges, such as inadequate support for continuous dissemination, lack of appropriate incentives, and ineffective communication channels. There is a statistically significant impact of knowledge management, collectively with its dimensions, on the development of creative leadership capacities at Al- Jumhuriya Bank, Zliten Branch. The study recommended the necessity of enhancing support for the dissemination and exchange process by providing appropriate financial incentives and developing effective communication channels among employees at the bank. It emphasized the importance of enhancing communication between different departments to facilitate the dissemination and exchange of knowledge, thereby promoting interaction and collaboration among bank employees. Furthermore, it stressed the necessity of enhancing knowledge exchange programs within the bank, such as organizing interactive sessions and workshops to encourage creative thinking and idea exchange among employees.
