Abstract

The study aims to know the role of the political elite and the extent of its influence in making Iran’s foreign policy towards the Gulf states in general and Saudi Arabia and the UAE in particular, which were linked to a number of ideological, institutional, and other determinants that differ in terms of their strength in influencing the process of making Iranian foreign policy, all in order to reach To know the merits of those policies that Iran has adopted to extend its influence over the region.
