Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the social support and its role in the diabetic patient's acceptance of his diabetes, a study on a sample of patients attending the Royal Specialized Clinic in Al-Zawia, by identifying the level of social support for patients with diabetes and the degree of the diabetic's acceptance of his diabetes, then researching the nature of The relationship between social support and the degree of acceptance of diabetes by a diabetic patient. The research sample consisted of (120) patients with diabetes. The descriptive analytical approach was followed, and the questionnaire was used to collect data from the research sample. The search yielded the following results; - The level of social support for patients with diabetes who are hesitant for treatment at the Royal Specialized Clinic in Al-Zawia came to a high degree The degree of acceptance of diabetes by a diabetic patient was high. -There is a statistically significant direct correlation between social support and the diabetic patient's acceptance of his diabetes.
