The Libyan Folk Song and Its Role in Developing the Child Musically

Abstract

The research aims to identify the basics of Arabic music, including in teaching solfege and Arabic singing. The descriptive approach (content analysis) was used, benefiting from teaching its basics in some innovative and inspired exercises in teaching solfege and Arabic singing, and among the most important results that the researcher reached is benefiting from teaching its basics. Knowledge of musical scales, lines and spaces in teaching methods for solfège (reading and notation) and Arabic singing (memorization and listening).
