Psychological Fluency and Its Relationship with the Level of Ambition Among Football Players in the Southern Region

Abstract

This study aims to examine the level of psychological fluency and ambition among football players in the southern region, as well as to explore the relationship between these two variables. Additionally, it investigates differences in both psychological fluency and ambition based on club affiliation, playing position, and educational level. The study sample consisted of 30 players representing three football clubs in the southern region: Al-Qurtubiya (Sabha), Al-Tasamuh (Germa), and Al-Tali'a (Ghat), during the 2022/2023 sports season. The research employed a descriptive approach. The results revealed no statistically significant differences in the overall scores of psychological fluency and ambition based on educational level. However, significant differences were found in relation to club affiliation, while no significant differences were observed concerning playing position. Furthermore, no statistically significant correlation was found between psychological fluency and ambition.
