Training Needs of Faculty Members at the Colleges of Education, University of Zawiya

Abstract
The importance of the research topic is to identify the most important training needs and their role in raising the level of the educational process within Libyan colleges and universities, to identify the difficulties, problems and challenges facing employees within colleges of education, and to create a clear picture of employees’ skills, in order to benefit from them in performing work within educational colleges. The research problem revolves around identifying the most important training needs of the staff of the education colleges' offices at Al-Zawiya University. This research aims to reveal the training needs of administrative office staff at the faculties of education, Al-Zawiya University, and whether there are differences in the assessment of training needs according to variables (gender, academic qualification, experience). The research adopted the descriptive approach, including (65) male and female employees. The results showed that the level of training needs in personal, organizational, administrative, and human relations skills was moderate, with statistically significant differences in favor of males.
